Yup another win for the MIGHTY MIGHTY Aston Villa as we thumped Burnley 5-2… C’mon Villa you good thing!
We’re looking really good this year – European qualification is definately on the cards.
Interesting football rumour doing the rounds… apparently a South African consortium is going to announce a bid for the embattled Portsmouth Football Club. Yes [...]

… I see that Togo have been banned from the next two AFCON cups in 2012 and 2014 because they elected to pull out of the 2010 event.
That’s a bit harsh considering they had just been mown down by AK47 wielding terrorists who happened to kill two of their delegations when their bus was ambushed [...]

I drove by the new Nelspruit football stadium for the 2010 World CupĀ earlier this week – Geez it looks impressive from far out!
A really good advert for the city of Nelspruit – think they just need to sort out that last bit of roadworks and then it will be ready to welcome the international tourists.
The [...]

Yes please! Liverpool down, Aston Villa wins and believe it or not Fulham even managed to give Manchester United carrots.
I missed this last night but I believe that Mark Hughes has been sacked as the Manchester City boss… the year hasn’t really worked out for them in quite the way their big spending backers would [...]

This is probably a bit of a facetious post but one of the discussions that came up in one of our office debates earlier in the week is whether or not football was actually a mainstream sport in South Africa.
There is no question that it is one of the more popular sports in South Africa, [...]
